STERIOTYPES OF WOMEN

The advertizment i choose is a pragnet woman, with her face concelead from the picture drinking a glass of wine. As I look at a picture like this it brings many unplesent thoughts. Why is this woman drinking pragnet and because of this you would automatcally think she is a bad mom. The picture also has a large glass of wine with a rope hanging out of it and masculant hands grasping on to the rope. To me this symbolizes the baby drounding in this alchlol the mother is drinking. While were quick to talk about this woman drinking pragnet where is the father at. Women always seem to be steriotyped as the housewife or a at home mother. We always see single mothers and thats just normal but hardly ever do we see single fathers. This is my aspect on this picture and how women are steriotyped even when were doing a good job, there is always someone whos going to judge you no matter how great of a mother you are or not!

Viagra

Viagra is no longer recognized as a medication for men with Erectile Dysfunction (ED), Provestra is the new Viagra for Women with low or no sex drives. Studies show that there are 20 million men and women who are missing out on sexual intimacy. Erectile Dysfunction (ED) for men and low or no sex drives for women. The cause for both men and women, figuratively speaking is unknown, but certain environmental triggers such as overstressed, overtaxed, overworked, poor nutrition, lack of exercise and health problems such as high blood pressure could be contributing factors.

most men experiencing Erectile Dysfunction (ED) are embarrassed when they notice something is wrong and this is difficult to accept or admit. some men might experience (ED) for a whole year, too embarrass to discuss this with their partner or doctor. They are uncertain how they may be received; they can't even say Erectile Dis function. Some might blame it on being tired, or think things will get better or just maybe they are getting too old .

Women, their bodies don't always cooperate with hormonal changes; post pregnancy, monthly menstruation and menopause. Most women today are faced with extremely busy lives; juggling careers, kids, husband, housework and more; left feeling exhausted, rundown and less interested in making time for sex; only viewing it as another neglected chore.

With these attitudes partners tend to develop relationship issues and psychological symptoms towards each other; each blaming the other. One might think the love switch shut off. Blame may be placed on a partner, as seeing someone else. One partner or the other may develop anxiety or depression.

Today research show Erectile Dysfunction in men is common, it happens to men in all cultures, research has shown Viagra works for most men with Erectile Dysfunction. Doctors are dealing comfortably everyday, working with men with Erectile Dysfunction by describing Viagra as a medicine to treat (ED) which dilates the blood vessels causing enjoyable sexual experience. Research has developed a Viagra (Provestra) for women, a multi vitamin with a blend of the highest quality herbs nutrients and aphrodisiacs all proven to balance the hormones and nutrients associated with all aspects of the female productive system. Research show it increases fertility, lowers mood swings and irritability and allows more intense pleasurable muscle contraction with orgasms and dramatically increase a women's desire for sex.
With today's constant growing society and continuing economic problems, people are now being forced to take drastic measures to provide and take care of their families. With this in mind, it's probably for the reason that gun sales are going through the roof. It seems like nowadays everyone from all social economic levels are packing heat.

fashion junkie

what the add is portraying is that these women are addicted to fashion as if it were a drug like cocaine. one of the chicks looks like she is blazed out of her mind and the other is trying to snort the shoulder strap. i don't think that this is a very appropriate add, it looks like two strung out whores looking for there drugs they lost in there dress last night. i guess i don't understand why somebody would think its alright to make a add like this. there is some humor in this add the more i look at it but at first sight its not very appealing.
My advertisement varys with 3 important stereotypes that definitly affect our culture first of which is weight and how many people percieve it as beauty. The second stereotype is race which has always been an issue in our culture. My third stereotype is gender and how males are superior to women by dominating sex, money, and authority. These factors that are most important to me because being a single mother I defy the steroetypes above. I am a proud latina woman with curves who takes on the roles of mom provider and protecter proving woman can do it all.

loreal ad

I choose a loreal ad because I think everyone is judged on how they look. These ads have models that have been touched up but we look at them and say wow shes pretty I wanna look like that. The ad that I have is for "anti aging" lip stick. It has a picture of a model im not sure she is even in her thirties. What happens if a women in her 40s using that lipstick would she look that good?

Body Image

In the ad that I choose to write about, is of a young girl sitting in front of a mirror with a picture from a magazine of some one famous on her lap, with makeup on the floor beside her. She has her hair braided and pulled up in in a bun and her hands gentle placed on the bottom of her chin. She looks like she is trying to be like the person in the magazine "Glamorous". We all look at ads and tv commercials and see the men and women, how fit they are and if we could only be like them. The ads make us believe that if we want to be perfect like the men and women in the there ads we need to buy the workout videos, the the face cremes and the hair products they are selling. We look at Movie stars and see them as untouchable that nothing can hurt them. Our kids use Atheletes, Actors, Actress, and anybody that they see on tv or in a magazine, to idiolize. We as parents need to show our children that the people they should strive to be, is a respectable person not one of wealth.

sisley

I personally do not care for the ad. If i was reading a magazine and read it i would just ignore it, i would not buy any clothing from that company because i do not believe in what they are trying to show. What the girls are doing has nothing to do with clothes, very pointless. I dont understand how a company would believe that this is an effective way to advertise. These days anything you say or do that may be the slightest bit offensive, you are going to have many people that resent you

Zippo Add

The main focus in this add is a big hand holding up one of the new Zippo lighters. The add is set up so you are looking from behind the lighter like you are holding the lighter. Inthe backround there is a huge crowd of people like at a rock show. They look like they are cheering and going crazy over the lighter. In the corner of the add there is a ticket that looks like a concert ticket telling u about Zippos website. The add is giving the message that if you dont have this lighter your not cool.

Why Would They Think This Was Okay?

This ad is so obviously just - wrong.

So, why would the company, and the advertisers, think it was a good idea? Why would they think they could not only get away with it, but actually use it to sell their product?

barbjlocke

These girls look stoned on sniffing clothes. Stupid ad. Seems to be no end to what these companies will do to sell and make big bucks.

WTF!!!

How is it that our society as a whole let these huge almost godley advertising corporations get away with ads like this. Stop and think like a thirteen year old or maybe your child looking at this picture. What do you think is going thru their minds looking at this? I know it makes me think its ok to get high and dress slutty. The youth of today is hugely influenced by this explicit advertising and im sickened to think that my daughter or son will fall helplessly to influences of something like this. Something has got to be done to lesson the amount of stereotypical bullsh$$ that these rich pigs put out.

Fashion Kills

I think this ad is very suggestive in many ways. What does clothing have to do with cocaine? Why do the advertising company feel that this would appeal to a consumer? I myself would propbably not purchase anything from this vendor only because I dont agree with the way they advertised there product.

Fashion Junkie

Sisley fashion junkie has found a tasteless way to promote their line of clothing.
I think that ad was to much. I understand that they are fashion junkies but that is taking it a little to far. It's like that they are approving the use of cocaine. The girls look like they are all high to.

Fashion junkie

I think that this Fashion Line is taking fashion junkie to a whole new level. I dont think cocaine and a little white dress have any relation what so ever. I know that there is alot of people addicted to drugs, but I dont think that is a good way to get there attention just to buy there fashion line. They are probably broke from thier addiction in the first place, and can not afford to buy anything.

Fashion Victims

This ad portrays the readers to believe that fashion is supposed to make you feel like you are high on life. The company is trying to sell a clothing line using drugs in the shape of a t-shirt. In my opinion the ad really is portraying women as fashion victims.

Really?

A lot of us have the preconceived notion models do drugs to stay thin. But I think this is taking it too far. One, it looks like the models are "snorting" cocaine. But if you take a closer look, they're trying to "snort" a dress. Maybe that makes it okay, but glamorizing the image of a "junkie" is not. It's not like it's a good thing to be a junkie. Junkies live on the streets, don't have money or clothes, and they smell funny. Would you want to be a fashion junkie if it meant that?
